Fire extinguishing properties of Pyrocool rely on absorbing heat from the flames, causing an immediate drop in temperature and preventing the further development of fire. During the firefighting, Pyrocool creates water mist, settling on the extinguished surfaces in the form of film, insulating them from the air and protecting against re-emergence of the fire.
As a concentrate, Pyrocool does not cause any problems with its transport or storage. It can be stored in its original, sealed package for at least 10 years, without any damage to its fire extinguishing properties. Due to its complete non-toxicity and biodegradability, Pyrocool can be classified as an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent.
